Eunice Choi focuses on creating interactive installations and objects based on the observation in daily experience.
She often utilizes digital fabrication and mold making/casting in her process and incorporates kinetic movements or whimsical narratives into the piece.

Squishy Project

Squishy Project is a collection of objects made with semi-transparent silicone and pigments.
Sea animals, such as sea slugs or sea anemones, show bright colors and sudden movements to repel predators while having flexibility and translucency to blend into the environment.
Inspired by the resilience of the body and the behavior of sea animals, Squishy Project suggests tactile and visual interactions that abstract the relationship between the being and the surrounding.

Eunice Choi si è concentrata sulla creazione di installazioni interattive e oggetti basati sull’osservazione dell’esperienza quotidiana. 
Spesso utilizza la fabbricazione digitale e la produzione di stampi nel suo processo e incorpora movimenti cinetici o narrazioni stravaganti nel pezzo.

Squishy Project

Squishy Project è una collezione di oggetti realizzati con silicone semitrasparente e pigmenti. 
Gli animali marini, come le lumache di mare o gli anemoni di mare, si presentano con colori brillanti e si muovono con movimenti improvvisi per respingere i predatori, pur avendo flessibilità e traslucidità per fondersi nell’ambiente.
Ispirato dalla resilienza del corpo e dal comportamento degli animali marini, Squishy Project suggerisce interazioni tattili e visive che astraggono la relazione tra l’essere e il circostante.
