Jonas Finkeldei and Nick Potter

Jonas and Nick both trained as wood joiners, building furniture or constructions from wood and similar materials. After working in this trade for some years, the two decided to attend the “Akademie für Gestaltung Münster”, a design school in Germany. Here they met, both their work concentrating on interior and product design.
“Threefold”, modular furniture they designed for “Münsterland E.V.” is one of the projects they are working on.

Threefold

The project Threefold is outdoor furniture that can quickly transform from a mat to a lounger, a stool or a coffee table. Foldable to a compact square and designed as a lightweight, it is easy to stow away, transport and quickly turn back into furniture.  The perfect companion for picnics, camping or outdoor events. The friendly, playful design invites the user to actively create and change his environment.

Jonas e Nick si sono entrambi formati come falegnami, costruendo mobili o opere in legno e materiali simili. Dopo aver lavorato in questo ambito per alcuni anni, i due hanno deciso di frequentare la “Akademie für Gestaltung Münster”, una scuola di design in Germania. Qui si sono incontrati, entrambi i loro lavori si concentrano sull’interior e product design.

Threefold

Il progetto Threefold è un mobile per esterni che può trasformarsi rapidamente da una stuoia a un lettino, uno sgabello o un tavolino. Ripiegabile in un quadrato compatto e progettato per essere leggero, è facile da riporre, trasportare e trasformare rapidamente in mobili.  Il compagno perfetto per picnic, campeggio o eventi all’aperto. Il design amichevole e giocoso invita l’utente a creare e cambiare attivamente il suo ambiente.
